On My Mind (Part One)

ON MY MIND Part One.
It goes to fast, she told me that it’s supposed to go slow
but I don’t know how,
to hold back the feeling I have,
anyway its too late for that now
Cause every little fraction you break, I plead I’m lost.
Shuttered broken and cold is everything that once was
The reason she can forgive, you know i I know why
Life never shone between you and I
Ahhhh Ahhh
She almost fell asleep on my chest
And for my restless soul it was enough
Haven’t seen her since, I wonder where she been
It’s a matter of time and I wonder when
Cause every little fraction you break, I plead I’m lost.
Shuttered broken and cold is everything that once was
The reason she can forgive, you know i I know why
Life never shone between you and I
And Ahhh You’re always on my mind
Always on my mind
You’re always on my mind Always on my mind
Your always on my mind Always on my mind
Gonna catch some sleep,
Gonna burn your hymn
And forget all the things that could have been
And when I wake up, I’ll take my car for a ride
Its been too long with you on my mind.
Cause every little fraction you break, I plead I’m lost.
With every little road you made
I always took the shortest cut.
The reason she can forgive, you know i I know why
Light never shone between you and I

ON MY MIND (PART TWO)
Life took a giant leap,
A pace I cant keep.
And in this dying need
You’re still on my mind.
With every fraction you broke, I plead I’m lost
Shuttered broken and cold is all that was
The reason she could forgive, I guess I know why
Life never shone between you and I
I still don’t got a clue
They calling out to you
Every time I shook you loose
You came back as something new.
With every fraction you broke, I plead I’m lost
Shuttered broken and cold is all that was
The reason she could forgive, I guess I know why
Life never shone between you and I

PARALLEL
I was just a pebble bouncing on your pond
I had no plan
You got my focus pinned
And you sat on the reed and silently watched
the world cradle in the wind
We shared a smoke on the balcony
While the snow was rolling in February spread our souls so thin
I said, It’ll take a while before I’ll be back again
And we carved the initials of our names
in the ice, and I was lost in warm rosewood eyes
My self-assurance was tossed under moody velvet skies
Now the loon cries a minor tale
And I’m doing the same, cause nowadays thats’ the only time I play
But once before our broken hearts, dreams and black tar stuck under
our finger nails
I was always rushing I was bouncing towards the sea, and from your point of you,
It must have been looking,
like I tried to flee.
It was not the world, not the city, not the deep blue sea, that was swaying
It was always you. Don’t you see I’ve been sleeping
on the brightest of days
Without a clue that the sun, would melt the ice away.

LILAC
Hey how you doing, Heard about you from a friend
Me I’m just hanging around, playing hard and pretend.
Are you yet the owner, did you find something going on?
Ohhhh Ohhhhh
I could write without reason, something that fit and rhyme
I could say that last summer, I was doing just fine.
Photographic scenery, I get impressed too easily
Ooohhh Ohhh
Our time is now, And I’m on hold
The time is right Hanging loose
I’m waking slow I’m letting go
Brush it up And you know
The time is passing on
Its done, get up and run
Someone close, to hold
Cobble stones were set to place, when the lilac blossomed,
That old summer was a haze, and I thought about you quite often
In between the sweaty nights, and sleeping on the bottom
Anyway, the thing is, what I really mean,
When I had you by my side, it’s the best off I ever been.
Hell girl, I’ve been counting the days ever since.
Ooohhh Ohhh
When time was right, I was on hold
Been two years now, hanging loose
I’m waking slow I’m letting go
Brush it up
On the thread i lie Talking at night,
Don’ t know how long, there’s been to hold you tight
When darkness rise, I Howl at the light
Just brush it up, Its enough
The time is passing on, its done
get up and run, like before.

REASONS
And when did the weather change, Its like you’re so used to
to see the diligent grow straw to seed. Do you still bleed, from that first drop,
that ripped your skin away from your nose.
We are running in the dark, and I can’t choose
wether this if fine or if its burning my inside
we’re stuck in the wheel , my soul lies there
on the street, in case you want to meet me.
Your cigarette still burns, and your boots stomps so heavy
A tip of your tongue still warms, deep inside, its softly buried.
And I could never think of spring, the images it brings
Lilac blossom, and I think of you too often.
It is no sin, we’re almost the same
The sorrow comes within, just for different reasons
You are no early bird, calling to me, at night, around quarter past three
While emerald skies and withe bird cherry, kiss the night goodbye
and we’re dancing on the moon
Your cigarette still burns, and your boots stomps so heavy
A tip of your tongue still warms, deep inside, its softly buried.

SLUMBERING MOON
I’ve done all the things, I should do,
So now we’re going west, with friends and canoes.
It’s a dream I’m telling you, it will be over soon.
So I stay awake a little longer, under a slumbering moon.
The best entertainment, is a fire in the dark.
The only speed I need is a dip when the day starts.
It’s a dream I’m telling, to be bored in the sun.
For a moment the prize we seek, is already won.
Glad and gently, listening to the loom.
Catching pikes with my brother in the windless noon.
It’s a dream I’m telling you, when my mother says
and who can know or tell what tomorrow will bring.
In winter I was stuck inside my own haze.
I was always saving up, for these beautiful days
It’s a dream I’m telling you, it will be over soon.
So I stay awake a little longer, under a slumbering moon.

LOST WISDOM
They say darkness fade in the shadow of time
That we forgive and forget the things we could have said and done.
That all the tears that defile your soul
Will turn into solid grounds, for you to lay upon.
Someday I sure will look back. I’ll be grateful for all the good and all the bad.
Days that led me into the unknown. and for your presence it fill my heart with song
Oooooohhhh.
And sun is sitting, and my spirit running low. It’s been a while since 19, it’s been a while I know.
Spring is rising, and this is getting old. I still hold you close, like forever ago.
I think I know my goal but the feeling hangs loose.
I believe we have our chances, but it’s hard to choose.
We’re getting older, and spring is on the move.
I still hold you close, that’s my only truth
OOooooohhh

SUBSIDE
Did I smile on spring, and held myself inside.
I never finished anything, still working all the time.
I sat in my dorm-room, waiting for something to catch me by.
I waited, and I waited, and held my, held my love-why
Oh how dreams subside.
The sweet virtue to know, what’s best and what’s right.
Holding me like a vulture, every sound at night.
My ceiling was my sky, as I slept in blue tv screen light
I was waiting for a call, I was waiting for a god.
Oh how dreams, subside
I believe a change is near, feel my old skin ignite.
I lived inside my fear, and you fade in my mind.
I’ll clean this old place up and stop depending on just pure luck
And try to see what’s ahead of me.
You try to just be.
